January Math Incentive

Hello Bella Vista Tigers!

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holidays with their loved ones.

As we have reviewed student achievement scores this year a trend has developed that many Bella Vista students are lacking basic math computation skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division).    To address this Bella Vista is doing the following

During the month of January teachers will be focusing and reteaching basic math computation skills

·      On February 2nd students will be taking a progress monitoring test to determine present levels.

·      Any student who scores “proficient or highly proficient” or makes “typical progress” will receive a Bella Vista beanie.
