Ms. Caldwell is one of our fantastic library brain booster teachers. Each day students are greeted by her smile when they enter the library. She has a passion for reading and passes that along to students. When I asked people the first word that came to mind when mentioning Ms. Caldwell “kindness” was mentioned multiple times. We have seen her personally take a student having a hard day and work with them one on one to help them turn their day around.
In addition to her teaching she has also taken on the following challenges:
Updating library: Last year she was given the monumental task of removing over 5,000 outdated books and replacing them with new, exciting books. Ms. Caldwell gladly accepted the challenge because she knew this would benefit the students of Bella Vista.
Book Fair: Twice a year she prepares, finds volunteers, and runs a great book fair for students.
Additional Activities: Ms. Caldwell willingly steps up to the plate with any crazy requests the principal sends her way. She has scooped ice cream, volunteered at field day, and a plethora of other tasks.
Both students and staff are lucky to have Ms. Caldwell at Bella Vista!
