Popsicles at the end of school on Friday were a “cool” way to end a first week of school!
The popsicles were Principal Holden’s way of thanking the students and teachers for their positive attitudes while crews worked on a malfunctioned air conditioning system through the week. Canyons District’s Facilities Department has ordered a new motor for the HVAC system and is expected to be repaired early next week.
In the meantime, fans and portable coolers have been placed throughout the school and water bottles are available to students who need them.
