We have exciting news to share about a prestigious award earned by our school. The Bella Vista Tigers have sprung to the top, earning one of the ultimate accolades — National Blue Ribbon status. Bella Vista is among just three schools in Utah in 2024 to earn this recognition, which the U.S. Department of Education reserves for schools with exceptional academic performance. The award was announced today at a press conference by U.S. Education Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. We celebrated with faculty and will be hosting a special assembly with students Tuesday morning. This recognition is long overdue and its significance can’t be overstated. Bella Vista already has a reputation as a strong school, and we challenged each other to reach even higher. I’m so proud of Bella Vista’s faculty and students and grateful for the support and involvement of families. Achieving this status is a testament to the strength of the entire Bella Vista community.
