Enrollment Process (with links)
- Eligibility: Your child must turn five before September 1st of the enrolling year.
- Required Documents: Parents/Guardians must provide the following during enrollment:
- An official birth certificate
- An immunization record or Utah exemption form
- Proof of residency (must include address, parent name, and current date)
- Enrollment Application: Enrollment is done online at https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/depts/admissions/new-student/
- If you already have a student attending in the Canyons School District, click on “New Student Enrollment” to link your new student with your existing Skyward account.
- If you are new to our district, click on “Temporary Account for New Student Enrollment” to begin the process.
Half-Day Kindergarten Intention
If you are interested in enrolling your child in a half-day kindergarten program, please email the school principal by February 28, 2025 to declare your interest.
First Day of Kindergarten Information
- Bring a regular sized backpack.
- Do not send any school supplies (crayons, pencils, markers. glue, scissors). We supply all of that at school.
- Meet us at the in the Preschool/Kindergarten play area in the morning. We will bring your child into the classroom. No other adults are allowed inside.
- Lunch: Plan to eat lunch at school or bring one from home.
- School begins at 8:40 AM on August 19th, 2024. The first week of school is half days.
- After the first week of school, dismissal will be at 3:30PM.
- Fridays are short days and school will be dismissed at 1:40PM.
