Three Ways to Complete the Census
By Mail
Utah residents will start to receive written invitations to complete the 2020 Census starting March 12. Starting May 13, the U.S. Census Bureau will visit homes that haven’t responded to ensure everyone is counted. Online
From March 12 through July 30, you can complete the 2020 Census online at: https://my2020census.gov/
• Residents can complete the census at any Canyons District elementary school through May 1.
• The entire survey must be completed in one session. You cannot start it, save your work and come back later.
• There is a 15-minute timeout for security purposes.
By Phone

Instructions For Completing the Census Online
1. You can access the census questionnaire at https://my2020census.gov/
2. The questionnaire is available in 13 languages. To select a language, lick on the globe icon on the upper righthand corner of your browser.
3. You will need to complete the census in one sitting. If you leave, you will have to start over.
4. To begin, choose the blue button labeled, “Start Questionnaire.”
5. Enter your 12-digit census ID, which you should have received in the mail. If you do not have a census ID, select the blue hyperlink below the login button and answer some additional questions about your address. You will still be able to respond.
6. Follow the prompts.
