The last 18+ months have been a challenging time for all of us. Most of us have much to be thankful for…food, clothing, and a warm place to stay. This month reminds us of all we have.
We would like to have the opportunity to give to someone else – someone that may not be as fortunate as we are. The thought of someone having cold feet while they are already have troubles makes us sad. We have found a reputable charity through http://www.justserve.org that is collecting socks for the homeless. (http://blueskiesforever.org)
WHAT: Sock Drive
HOW: Bring in a pair (or pairs) for children, women, or men
WHY: To help clothe the feet of the homeless in our community
WHEN: December 1 – 15
After we have collected the socks we will take them to the donation site this holiday season.
